Ewha Womans University Natural History Museum
- The natural history museum is the first of its kind opened (1969) in the country. It collects, preserves, and conducts research on wild species found both in and out of the country, and the rocks, minerals and fossils that form the earth’s crust. The museum has a number of exhibition rooms covering diverse subjects like plants, insects, invertebrate/vertebrate animals, and geoscience, and a diorama room displaying miniature models of the ecological environment including mountains, swamps, and oceans. It also runs hands-on nature experience programs.
